Student Visa (X2)
KCEL supports the X2 student visa, valid for up to 180 days. Once enrolled, KCEL issues your School Admission Letter, which you use to apply for the X2 visa at the Chinese consulate in your country.
Application process:
- Complete the KCEL application form and submit your passport front page.
- Pay the $100 USD registration fee and your program fee in full.
- KCEL issues your School Admission Letter.
- Take your Admission Letter to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate nearest to you and apply for your X2 student visa.
After full payment, your Admission Letter is typically ready within 5–10 business days. You then apply for the X2 visa at your nearest Chinese consulate — processing typically takes 1–4 weeks depending on your country. Allow 6 weeks total before your intended start date.
